About

Ammu Mohan is a International Para Badminton Player from Karnataka playing in Women Wheelchair 2 category. She is the top seed in Women Wheelchair 2 category at the National level. Playing since 2015 she has secured multiple medals at National and International level.

She has been imapcted by post polio for both the lower limbs due to which she had to face a lot of hardships since childhood. She started para sports with tennis and later found that badminton was the right game for her disability.

She is an independent working woman managing both her job and sport simultaneously and with her dedication and hard work has won medals at both national and international stages.

She has been awarded with prestegious Helen Keller award for being a "Role Model for Persons with Disability".
